
Chicken Bacon with French Toast & Maple Syrup

4 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp butter
1 French bread stick, sliced diagonally 2cm thick
8 slices Tegel Chicken Bacon
Maple syrup to serve

Method
Beat the eggs in a shallow bowl. Add the milk and cinnamon and whisk to combine.
Heat the butter in a frying pan. Dip each bread slice into the milk mixture then cook in batches over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. In the mean time, grill, barbecue or pan fry the chicken bacon until it is golden brown.
Serve the French toast immediately topped with Chicken Bacon and maple syrup.
