
Asian Chicken Meatballs with Sweet Chilli Dipping Sauce
Serves:
Ingredients
450g Tegel Lean & Lite Premium Mince
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
2 spring onions, chopped
1 tsp minced chilli
1 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsp dried breadcrumbs
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp oil
Dipping sauce:
1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce
2 tbsp lemon juice or lime juice
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
2 spring onions, chopped
1 tsp minced chilli
1 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsp dried breadcrumbs
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp oil
Dipping sauce:
1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce
2 tbsp lemon juice or lime juice
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Method
Combine chicken mince, ginger, spring onions, chilli, sesame oil, breadcrumbs and salt and pepper. Mix well and form into approximately 30 small balls.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and cook chicken balls over medium heat for 6-8 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown. Turn frequently.
To prepare the dipping sauce, combine all ingredients. Serve as a nibble with the dipping sauce.
