Crispy Seasoned Chicken Drums

Tegel Fresh Chicken Drums

8 Tegel Fresh Chicken Drums, thawed
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 Tbsp fresh rosemary, oregano,thyme or parsley finely chopped
Finely grated zest of lemon
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 egg
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce.


1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C.

2. Mix together breadcrumbs, garlic, herbs, lemon zest. Season lightly with salt and pepper and place in a flat dish.

3. In a separate dish, beat together egg, oil and Worcestershire sauce. Dip Tegel Fresh Chicken Drums into the egg mixture, shake off excess liquid, and then roll in the breadcrumb mix to coat.

4. Place crispy chicken drums in an oven pan and bake for 40 minutes or until chicken tests cooked when a sharp knife is inserted deep into the meat and the juices run clear.

5. Serve with seasonal vegetables or a fresh salad and baby potatoes.
