Kay Sey's Story
I began my journey at Tegel through the graduate programme, fresh out of university and unsure exactly where I wanted to head. The rotational structure gave me the chance to explore different parts of the business and figure out what truly sparked my interest.
I started in QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) Sales, then moved through roles in Marketing and Category Strategy. Each rotation came with real responsibilities and valuable exposure to different teams and ways of working. It was through these experiences that I discovered my passion for Marketing, and now I’m proud to be in a permanent role as an Assistant Brand Manager in the Corporate Marketing team.
The programme gave me so many incredible opportunities from factory and farm visits to learning workshops and fun activities with the other grads (axe throwing included!). More than anything, I developed key skills in communication, project management, and collaboration.
What truly makes Tegel special is the people, they are supportive, driven, and always up for a laugh. It’s incredibly rewarding when someone tells me my work looks great or that they found the content helpful.
A standout moment for me was being part of the 2024 Charity Golf Day with our charity partner The Kindness Collective. It was amazing to help bring that day to life.
