These competition terms (Terms) apply to the BLACKCAPS Ticket giveaway (Competition) run by Tegel Foods Limited (Tegel) held through the Tegel Instagram account (https://www.instagram.com/tegel_nz/). Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms.

 

The Competition runs from September 30^th 2025 to October 2^nd 2025 (Competition Period). All entries received outside the Competition Period will not be entered into the Competition.

 

1.1       To be eligible to enter the Competition, you must be residing in New Zealand at the time the Competition is drawn and be at least 13 years of age at the time the Competition is drawn.

1.2       You are not eligible to enter the Competition if you are an employee or agent of Tegel or its related entities, or a member of a Tegel employee or agent's immediate family.

1.3       Tegel shall have sole and final determination as to which entries are genuine and therefore eligible to take part in this Competition. Tegel reserves the right, to disqualify any Competition entrant where Tegel, in its sole discretion believes the entrant has breached any of these Terms, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any misconduct to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition.

2.1       To enter the Competition, you must, during the Competition Period:

(a)        follow the Tegel Instagram page;

(b)        Comment on the competition post on the Tegel Instagram page, posted on 30^th September 2025.

2.2       You will receive one entry per comment.

2.3       Tegel assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation unauthorised access to or alteration of Competition entries.

3.1       There are six prizes to be won.

3.2       The winner(s) of the Competition will win 2x general admission tickets for the cricket match between New Zealand and Australia, being October 4^th, 2025, at Bay Oval in Tauranga (Prize)

3.3       The Prize is not transferrable or refundable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.

3.4       In the event that the Prize or any part of the Prize becomes unavailable for any reason the provision of an alternative Prize, will be supplied at Tegel's discretion.

4.1       The winner(s) of the Competition will be chosen by random selection. The selection of the winners by Tegel is final.

4.2       The winner(s) will be announced on October 3^rd, 2025, by Instagram stories on the Tegel Instagram page.

4.3       The winner(s) agree to let Tegel use their name in any media, without charge, in any publicity about the Competition.

4.4       The winner(s) will be contacted via Instagram direct messenger and will be tagged in a winners announcement post by Tegel.

4.5       The winner(s) will be required to provide their name, phone, address and email to Tegel in order Tegel to deliver the Prize to the winner. 

4.6       If the winner(s) cannot be contacted within a reasonable time period or are not able or available to accept the Prize for any reason, that Prize will be deemed to be forfeited and Tegel may award the Prize to another entrant.

4.7       All other costs associated with redeeming a Prize, are the responsibility and at the cost of the winner.

5.1       Personal information provided by Competition entrants will be used by Tegel for the purpose of conducting this Competition and otherwise in accordance with Tegel's Privacy Policy.

6.1       The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Inc. By participating in this Completion, you agree to a complete release of Instagram, Inc. from any claims.

6.2       Entry into this Competition is deemed as consent to use entrant’s Instagram handle for any publicity associated with this Competition without further payment or other compensation to the winner.

6.3       The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc (Meta). By participating in this Completion, you agree to a complete release of Meta from any claims.

7.1       Tegel reserves the right to amend, vary, extend or discontinue a Competition at any stage, for any reason without prior notice.

7.2       Tegel and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special, or consequential loss or loss of profits) or damage or personal injury or death suffered or sustained in connection with this Competition or the acceptance or use of any Prize (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, in which case it will be excluded to the minimum allowable by law.

7.3       These Terms are governed by New Zealand law.
