Hatchery Truck Driver

We are seeking an experience Truck Driver for a permanent, full time, driving position based at our Hatchery in Lepperton, Taranaki. The role involves the transporting of eggs from our Breeder farms and live day-old chicks from our Hatchery to broiler farms around Taranaki area, as well as regular deliveries throughout the North Island. This is an all-round role, as well as driving you will be expected to help load and unload the truck at the farms and assist with hatchery operations as required.
Ideally, successful candidates will possess the following attributes and experience:
- Clean Class 5 heavy traffic licence
- Reliable, punctual and determined to be at work every day
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Must be physically fit, strong and able do heavy lifting on regular basis
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Genuine concern for animal Welfare
The position works Monday to Friday and weekend work when required. Most public holidays will also need to be worked.
