The Opportunity
We're looking for a Finance Manager - Corporate to join our high-performing Finance team. In this pivotal role, you'll provide leadership to a direct report and deliver insightful financial analysis that supports strategic decision-making at the highest levels of the business.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role that offers autonomy, visibility, and the chance to influence real change across the organisation.
What You'll Do
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in executing Tegel's financial strategy and strengthening our internal control framework. Your focus will span:
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop data-driven insights using financial models and data cubes to influence key business decisions and improve performance.
- Risk Management and Internal Controls*:* Conduct periodic internal reviews and audits to ensure compliance with Tegel's policies and controls.
- Tax and reporting compliance*:* Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and identify opportunities to optimise compliance processes.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present accurate monthly and annual financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and P&L mapping.
- Process Improvement: Champion automation, digital tools, and best practices to streamline reporting and drive efficiencies across the function.
What You'll Bring
- CA (or equivalent) qualification - essential
- 5+ years' experience in financial reporting and analysis, ideally within a large, complex organisation or professional services environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with complex data sets
- Proven ability to extract insights from financial data and influence senior stakeholders
- Meticulous attention to detail, with a mindset for continuous improvement
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to solve complex problems and influence outcomes.
