Currently, we're seeking skilled Quality Controllers to join our New Plymouth site. Your expertise will contribute to upholding our high-quality and food safety standards across various departments on the site.
The opportunity:
As a Quality Controller, your role is to check and verify operational activities to ensure compliance with regulations, customer requirements and Tegel's internal processing and quality guidelines. Flexibility will be a key value-add, as the role may require operating across varying shift patterns to support business continuity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring production processes and verifying product is in spec
- Managing documentation and escalating non-conformance's
- Completing GMP inspections and product/environment testing
- Supporting audits and HACCP activities
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a Quality Controller role or similar position
- Strong knowledge of GMP and documentation processes
- Attention to detail, good communication skills, and a solutions-focused mindset
- Passion for upholding high standards and seeking to get things right every time
