We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Manager – Agriculture & Supply to join our Finance team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you’ll partner closely with our CFO, GM Agriculture & Supply and operational leaders, turning business performance into meaningful insights that support better commercial decisions.
About the role
This is a hands-on commercial role with real exposure across our Agriculture and Supply operations. You’ll help our teams understand what’s driving performance, where the opportunities are and where we need to focus.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide commercial insight and analysis to support business decisions.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting across Agriculture and Supply.
- Partner with operational leaders to understand key business drivers, risks and opportunities.
- Support investment decisions, strategic projects and continuous improvement.
- Help improve how we use data, systems and technology to make reporting simpler and more valuable.
- Lead and develop a small finance team of three.
This is a role where you’ll get close to the operation, build strong relationships and tell the story behind the numbers, rather than simply reporting them.
About you
You’ll be an experienced commercial finance professional who enjoys understanding how a business really works and can turn complex information into clear, practical recommendations.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Commercial finance, finance business partnering or similar experience.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, analytical and financial modelling capability.
- Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, agriculture or another complex operational environment.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills, and an interest in using technology such as Copilot to work smarter.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
- Previous people leadership experience.
You’ll also be comfortable travelling to our regional sites to stay connected to the operations you support.
