Hawaiian Chicken Burger

Ingredients:

Tegel Take Outs Louisiana Style Burgers 600G
  • 4 Tegel Take Outs Louisiana Burgers
  • 4 fresh pineapple rings
  • 4 brioche burger buns
  • 8 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1 red onion, sliced in rings (try pickling your onion for extra zing!)

Method:

1. Cook the Louisiana Burgers as per packet instructions.

2. Grill pineapple over a medium high heat for 4 minutes each side, until the pineapple has started to caramelise.

3. Lightly butter the buns and toast until lightly golden.

4. To assemble, spread a tablespoon of mayo on each bun base, top with the Louisiana Burger, a grilled pineapple ring, a handful of lettuce and a few red onion rings. Spread the remaining mayo on the top of the buns and place on top. Serve immediately.
